Therapy and Specialized Programs

  • Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy assists children in developing and acquiring the skills needed for daily living activities, school, and home. Pediatric occupational therapy helps children who may be at risk for developmental delays such as motor development, learning, and behavioral health, to improve basic sensory awareness, and motor skills. Through occupational therapy your child will cultivate improved self-concept, and confidence.

  • Safe & Sound Protocol

Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP) is a therapy showing significant results from five days of listening to specially processed music. The SSP is a way to calm or regulate the fight or flight reflex. For some this reflex is hyper aroused causing the individual to feel unsafe in their everyday environments. Developmental and sensory processing differences can produce over-response. Past traumas or chronic stress can also produce over-response.
